I charge $100.00 Canadian funds per subject for people ( head and shoulders) and $150.00 per subject for pets ( head and shoulders) in each portrait.
I require a 50% non refundable deposit before I will begin any work on your portrait ( no exceptions ) and the balance is due before your portrait will be delivered to you. I have never had an unsatisfied client but I have had many clients who were so pleased with their portraits that they commissioned other drawings and/or referred me to their friends and family for other commissioned portraits.
When choosing the photo(s) for your portrait, please keep in mind that I as an artist can only accurately draw what I can see. the clearer the photgraph...the better your portrait will be. Artistic licence can be taken to enhance a portrait when desired or needed in some cases but for the truest accuracy and realistic quality, it is necessary to provide a clear picture for me to draw from.I take pride in all my work and want each client to be a happy client.
ORDERING PROCESS
1. Send me your reference picture(s) by email or regular post. Include any special instructions including what date you require the portrait for if it is a gift.
2. Send a non refundable 50% deposit for the portrait. Work on your portrait will not begin until I have received the deposit.
3. Allow minimum 2 weeks for completion.( I may at times be able to meet tighter deadlines. depending on how many commisions I have at that time.)If I am very busy with orders, delivery time may be longer depending on how many orders I have at that time.
4. View your completed portrait PROOF online for your approval.In some cases it may be possible when time allows to see your portrait evolve on this web site as I draw it through different stages of the process.
5. Make final payment. Portraits will only be delivered or shipped once final payment is received. Please note that shipping charges will be added to the total cost of your portrait.
6. Receive your portrait. Portraits are packaged in quality materials along with proper framing instructions.
